We firmly believe that the upbringing of a child is a collective endeavor. With a dedicated and strong support network, every child can thrive, lead a healthy life, and contribute positively to society.
In today's world, it's a common desire for every child to receive their education in a well-equipped school. However, the reality is that many parents find it financially challenging to enroll their children in private schools. Recognizing this issue, the esteemed industrialist and social activist, Protap Saikia, established the Jyoti Protap Education Trust. This visionary initiative led to the establishment of Jyoti Protap Gyanmarg Bidyalay, a completely tuition-free school, on April 1, 2021.
Parents and caregivers play pivotal roles as the most influential and capable members of a child's support system. Unfortunately, the existing public systems often operate in isolation, with teachers, pediatricians, and other professionals working independently. Despite sharing common objectives, these systems frequently lack the capacity, reach, or coordination to address the complex needs of children and families, particularly when they face additional challenges stemming from adversity and traumatic experiences.
Systemic racism compounds these challenges, disproportionately affecting communities of color. These communities not only grapple with these obstacles but also bear the added burden of limited access to essential services due to financial constraints. Consequently, parents, who possess the desire and capability to build a brighter future for their children, must confront the trials of systemic poverty while shouldering the responsibility of supporting their children alone.

Our vision is to ensure that every child has access to quality education and the holistic support they need to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances.
